"The bass sound is amazing! It has a lot of punch with nice low-end but also lot of high frequencies for the right amount of dirt!"

"The guitar sounds awesome! Huge, metallic and with this sort of aggressive midrange! We tested a lot of equipment so far but in the end we used almost the same setup like we have used for our last album 'DUST'."
Lukas Lancko of ISIDESIGNSTUDIO will create the album's cover artwork.

MYSTIC PROPHECY announced in February 2013 that they're going to enter the studio in early March. Soon after, the band's new masterpiece got a name: "Killhammer".
The new album was recorded at the Prophecy and Music Factory Studios with singer R.D. Liapakis once again sitting in the producer's chair. Fredrik Nordström (Hammerfall, In Flames, Arch Enemy) is responsible for the mix at the Studio Fredman in Sweden.
The band has now revealed the album's cover artwork, created by Uwe Jarling - one of the most talented fantasy graphic designers!
R.D. Liapakis comments on the album as follows:
"After 12 years and 7 albums we are ready to release our 8th album. 'Killhammer' will be a metal masterpiece with a wall of sound, loud guitars straight in your face and without compromises!"

DUSKMACHINE have unveiled the cover artwork of their upcoming, self-titled album!
It was designed and painted by Berlin-based artist and illustrator Eliran Kantor, known mostly for creating album covers for heavy metal bands such as Testament, Sodom, Hatebreed, Atheist, Anacrusis, Sigh and Mekong Delta among others.
The band comments:
"The idea behind the concept art was to create an assembly manual for the DuskMachine, hand-drawn by a mad scientist."

Austrian thrashers THE LAST WARNING unleash "The Beast"!

The band comments on the song as follows:
"The lyrics of this song are inspired by the life of the Austrian serial killer Jack Unterweger”. In 1974, Unterweger murdered an 18-year-old German girl. He was arrested in 1976 and was sentenced to life in prison. While in prison, Unterweger became an author of short stories, poems, plays, and an autobiography.
In 1985 a campaign to pardon Jack and release him from prison was started by Austrian's high society. He was released May 23, 1990.
In the same year, the murders went on in Europe and the United States. He was finally arrested by the FBI in Miami, Florida, in February 1992.
In June 1994, Unterweger was sentenced to life in prison again. Shortly after, he committed suicide in his jail cell before he could appeal the verdict."

A new drummer has joined INFERNAL TENEBRA from Croatia!
Sebastian Stell, who played with Mercenary Cockroach among other bands, succeeds Sandi Orbanić, who recently left the band due to personal obligations.
The band sought a permanent replacement and after the first audition and rehearsal with Sebastian it became obvious that he's the right man.
Guitarist and vocalist Darko Etinger commented:
"We're proud to have Sebastian Stell in our band. He's an extremely talented and focused drummer, capable of bringing a significant contribution to the band's sound."
Sebastian will first appear with INFERNAL TENEBRA at the Underwall Festival in Zadar, Croatia on June 7, 2013

In fact, their Tour The Darkness 2013 will kick off this Thursday, May 9th, in Berlin!
The guys will play several club shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in May, before they'll play at festivals in Denmark, Germany and Belarus this summer.
Unfortunately ILLDISPOSED's drummer Thomas is forced to sit out their May tour due to health reasons. Koldborn's Kim Langkjær Jensen will step in for him until he's fully recovered.
ILLDISPOSED released their current album "Sense The Darkness" in September 2012 and entered the Danish charts at #78 in its first week of release!

Sweden's thrash death metal 5-piece is going to release a brand new album this summer!
"The Sinister Supremacy" will be the band's sixth studio album and was recorded and produced by DARKANE at the Darkane Studio. Daniel Bergstrand has mixed the album.
The new album is the first album since "Demonic Art", which was released in 2008. It's also the first album with Lawrence Mackrory on vocals since the band's debut album "Rusted Angel", released in 1999.

Germany's dark metal quintet AGATHODAIMON is currently working hard on the successor of their 2009 release "Phoenix".
They've entered the Kohlekeller Studios in February and hope to finish the recordings with producer Kristian "Kohle" Kohlmannslehner in late April.
The band's new album is entitled "In Darkness" and will be released this summer!

"We’re sure IN DARKNESS has a lot of killer songs, and we did step into the right direction - though it’s also a step backwards. Back to the roots, to be clear.
We collectively felt that PHOENIX reached a point that’s as far as we can go, without denying our roots. So we summoned the spirit of the old times (of course without trying to pretend it’s 1995).
We put focus on the atmosphere and got rid of elements which did not fit to our vision. To summarize, I’d say it’s less technical, but more dense, coming rather from the heart than our heads. This sounds strange maybe, but you’ll get it once you’ll hear the first songs."

We want to welcome the multinational quintet CRYSTAL TEARS to the Massacre Records family!
The band was formed in the late 90's in Greece and issued several demos before they released their debut album "Choirs Of Immortal" in 2006 via Pure Steel Records.
It didn't take long until they shared stages with bands such as W.A.S.P., Riot or Jag Panzer!
CRYSTAL TEARS have left their mark as one of Greece's best heavy metal acts and have proven to be a persistent, innovative and unstoppable force.
Their musical roots can be traced back from the good ol' heavy metal of the Eighties up to modern metal.
Their second album "Generation X" followed in 2010 and was released via 7Hard. The album received rave reviews worldwide and initiated the band's first tour in Greece.
The band announced the addition of the Danish singer Søren Nico Adamsen (ex-Artillery) as well as the Hungarian guitarist Máté Nagy in late 2012 and started working on their third full-length album, which was recorded with producer R. D. Liapakis (Mystic Prophecy, Devil's Train).

The Austrian sextet was formed as an alternative/crossover trio back in 2005.
They released their EP "Schizophrenia" in 2009. Soon after and with the addition of a new drummer, they played more metal oriented music.
Their second EP "Fight" was released in 2010 and received good reviews. A second guitarist joined the band and they continued to develop their own musical style. Soon after, Austrian Alpencore was born!
Since their formation in 2005, the band has played more than a hundred gigs in Austria, Germany, Croatia and Slovakia and supported bands like Unearth, Sepultura, Debauchery, Ektomorf and others! They also played at several festivals, such as the Metalfest Open Air Austria, Metal Invasion or Novarock.
You won't forget a gig of TUXEDO!
Their percussion-driven metalcore with thrash elements is combined with their unique "Alpencore show", which includes the guys wearing traditional Austrian costumes. Yes, they also wear Lederhosen!
We are happy to announce the signing of Finland's UNSHINE!
The band was formed in 2001 and released two untitled demos in 2002 and 2003.
In 2004, UNSHINE signed with Low Frequency Records and released the self-recorded and self-produced debut album "Earth Magick" in 2005, both in Europe and North America.
During the following years, the band toured mostly in Finland and prepared the recordings and the mix of the second album, "The Enigma Of Immortals", which was released in 2008.
"The Enigma Of Immortals" entered the Finnish charts and received airplays at several radio stations, including Bruce Dickinson's BBC Friday Rock Show.
In spring 2009, UNSHINE went on their 1st European tour. They also played at Sweden's famous Sweden Rock Festival in 2010 and supported bands like Lake Of Thears and Amorphis.
About 5 years after the release of "The Enigma Of Immortals", UNSHINE are now ready to release their third album via Massacre Records!
The album's entitled "Dark Half Rising" and is expected to be released in late August 2013.

ELM STREET released their debut album "Barbed Wire Metal" in November 2011 via Massacre Records. It was produced by Ermin Hamidovic and was mastered at Panic Room Mastering in Sweden. The artwork was created by the well-known artist Ed Repka.

The band was formed in 2007 by the vocalist and guitarist Dave Jason. The live line-up includes Jens Lindmaier (guitar), Stefan Grießhammer (guitar), Bert Oeler (bass) and Marcel Woitowicz (drums).
In 2010 they signed with Trisol Music Group and released their debut album "Apokalypse".
In late 2010 SCHWARZER ENGEL toured with Ahab and The Vision Bleak through Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. The tour was accompanied by the release of the band's EP "Geister und Dämonen".
The second album "Träume Einer Nacht" followed in April 2011.
SCHWARZER ENGEL played at several festivals in 2011 and 2012, such as the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Hexentanz Festival, Castle Storm Festival and Dark Storm Festival.
SCHWARZER ENGEL's music can be described as modern dark metal with heavy guitar riffs, double bass attacks, catchy melodies and furious, deep vocals - all topped with orchestral arrangements.
The band's poetic German lyrics are about human failures, impressions of nature, myths and the cruel reality of today's world.

In post-apocalyptic times the Blood God starts the Death Metal Warmachine again. 10 years of constant warfare have made DEBAUCHERY even more brutal and sinister. Battlefields all over the world, from Russia to China, all across Europe were left victorious. Most of the well-known festivals - Wacken, Summer Breeze, With Full Force - were destroyed. On the campaigns DEBAUCHERY followed bands like Napalm Death, Destruction, Six Feet Under and more. The Blood God and his Murder Squad strode beside icons like Slayer, Venom, Immortal and Saxon – always recognizable because of their gore-drenched shows, half-naked Blood Babes and mutilated body parts.
The controversy of the band has brought DEBAUCHERY time and again in contact with the big mainstream media, be it a story in Germany’s BILD about the lesbian porn for “Death Metal Warmachine” or articles about the loss of the teacher-job of the front man. But in spite of all the brutality of the fantasy image, in real life the moral standards are of another kind: Thomas Gurrath is a vegetarian, his statement the video for “Animal Holocaust”, created in cooperation with PETA.
The music is straight, groovy, dark, brutal and tells evil stories.
DEBAUCHERY is more than just death metal – genres are broken, 10 years in music business, 10 years in metal, 10 years of DEBAUCHERY and now the 10th album of the Blood God.

"Homo Gusticus" was recorded and mixed by the band's vocalist Martin Schirenc at Vato Loco in Austria. Dan Swanö himself mastered the album at Unisound in Sweden.

If you've attended STORMWARRIOR's recent live shows, you may have already noticed some changes in the band's line-up.
The band has now confirmed that Jörg Uken (Nightfall, Von Branden, Rumble Militia) has joined STORMWARRIOR as permanent drummer!
The band commented:
"His energetic and powerful style really pushes us to the next level on stage, and for sure he will also make his mark when we will enter the studio very soon to record the follow up to "Heathen Warrior"!"

MASTIC SCUM are still working on their upcoming album and have released the following statement:
"We are currently working on 11 new brutal tracks again at Grindlab Studio. Drums are already recorded and got nailed down by Man Gandler. Bass and guitars will be tracked within next week. We also already started with vocal recordings with Maggo Wenzel."
Unfortunately, the band has to postpone a studio session to March/April. That's why the release of the new album will be pushed back as well.

We're happy to announce the signing of DUSKMACHINE!
The band was originally founded in summer 2004 by Nikolai Wurk (guitar), Randy Black (drums), Peter Habura (bass) and Hagen Hirschmann (vocals).
Just before the release of their debut album "The Final Fall" in 2005, Peter quit and was replaced by Russ Bergquist (ex-Annihilator). Vocalist Hagen quit too, which led to an almost one-year-lasting search for a new front man.
Joe Comeau (ex-Overkill, ex-Annihilator) then joined DUSKMACHINE as new vocalist. They presented the new and powerful line-up to a selected audience at the famous "70,000 Tons Of Metal" cruise in early 2011!
DUSKMACHINE's 3-song demo CD was also the "Demo Of The Month" in the 2011 December issue of Germany's Metal Hammer.
DUSKMACHINE plan to release their second album in summer 2013.

Originally formed in 1994 under the name Natt, the band changed their name to TRAIL OF TEARS in 1997. Shortly after they recorded a 3-track demo tape entitled "When Silence Cries..."
The debut album "Disclosure In Red" was released in November 1998 via the Dutch label DSFA Records, which was followed by "Profoundemonium" about 2 years later. They signed to Napalm Records in 2001 and released 4 further albums over the course of 8 years.
TRAIL OF TEARS played a lot of shows worldwide, among others with Tristania, Therion, The Sins Of Thy Beloved, Cradle Of Filth or Biohazard. They also performed at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Wave Gotik Treffen, Metal Mania Open Air, Metal Crowd Festival or Summer Breeze.
The band went through a couple of line-up changes, most recently with the departure of the band's former drummer Cato Jensen. Bjørn Dugstad Rønnow joined the band as new drummer in March 2012.
TRAIL OF TEARS have now signed with Massacre Records and plan to release their 7th full-length album "Oscillation" in spring 2013.
Ronny Thorsen, the band's vocalist, commented:
